Why Life Rings matter
A calmer way to notice balance before life becomes noise.
Most tools ask you to measure output. Logit asks a quieter question: what part of life needs care now?
Life Rings make that question visible without turning it into a public score. Each ring is a private signal shaped by what you write, choose, remember, and learn. A low ring is not failure. It is an invitation to notice what has been under-supported and choose one humane adjustment.
Four rings, one home base
Logit tracks four targetable rings:
- Connect for relationships, Circles, messages, events, and trusted follow-through.
- Act for goals, habits, tasks, focus, and recovery controls.
- Reflect for private journals, patterns, memories, and meaning.
- Learn for guides, quests, packs, and practices that add perspective.
Self is the home base that holds identity, preferences, privacy, and ring configuration. It is important, but it is not a target ring.
A signal before a plan
The point is not to fill every ring every day. A balanced life still includes quiet weeks, grief, travel, caregiving, and recovery. Logit helps you understand the signal before rushing into a plan.
When a ring is low, the next step should stay small:
Notice the signal.
Name what happened.
Choose one useful step.
Keep private evidence private unless sharing helps. That rhythm keeps action connected to real life instead of pressure.
Private first, support second
Life Rings work because the evidence starts privately. You can write honestly without performing for a feed. If support would help, you can bring selected context into a trusted Circle with audience and purpose clear before anything leaves the private workspace.
That boundary is what makes the model humane. Logit is not trying to make your life public. It is trying to help you understand what is asking for attention.
How to use the signal
Start with one ring. Ask what would make that ring a little healthier today.
- If Connect is low, send one specific check-in or ask for one reminder.
- If Act is low, choose one task small enough to finish.
- If Reflect is low, write one private note about what happened.
- If Learn is low, read one guide or choose one path that gives structure.
You do not need to optimize everything. You need a next step that respects the day you are actually in.
