Reflection guide
Choose or Make Journal Templates
Find useful questions, star a form or create your own.
Open journal templatesOn this page
A journal template supplies questions for an entry. An Act template starts something to do; selecting a journal form does not create an action.
Find and Keep Useful Forms
- Open Reflect → Add event and search for what happened.
- Choose a form and read its questions. Write a note works for free writing; Describe what happened can ask Loggy to recommend a form.
- Fill in the entry, check its date, life area, Life Ring, minutes and Private visibility, then Save event.
- Open the saved event to check the answers. Star a useful form to find it in Starred next time.
Recently used holds up to six forms you saved, not merely opened. Stars and recent choices belong to your account; offline changes stay on this device until the picker syncs.
Make Your Own Template
Open My templates from the picker's management control. Choose New template or Make my own copy, then name the form, set its life area and Life Ring, and add questions. Description and default duration are optional; review the duration for each real event.
Fields can include notes, questions, checklists, numbers, ratings, choices, one Mood field, tables, dates, times, durations and people. Arrange them, add helper text, and use Must be filled in each time only where needed. Show this question only when… connects a field to an earlier answer.
Choose Preview form to try it, then save the template in its editor. Preview answers are not journal events. Prefilled rows, dates and checklists are not proof of completed work and do not create tasks or reminders.
Copy, Edit, Archive, or Restore
Copies give you your own form without another person's answers. Open it in My templates to edit. Archive template hides it without deleting past events; restore it there to use it again. Restore offers Undo.
Changing the template does not rewrite earlier answers. A practice can keep its own chosen or copied completion form; starring another form does not change it. A saved practice reflection can become its form for next time.
Keep a Work Reference Across Entries
Use the same private title or reference across entries to follow related work. Names of clients or learners are optional. Linking a goal provides context without counting the same minutes again. Work starts with Act; review starts with Reflect. Optional Circle membership does not share these records.
Follow One Piece Of Content
Use Content work session, Content published and Content review under Career. Keep the content title and channel consistent; add links or observed response when useful. Logit does not publish your content or import audience analytics. Career is a starting life area you can change.
Follow a Client Delivery, Session, or Product
| Practice | Work / review forms |
|---|---|
| Freelance services | Freelance work / Freelance review |
| UGC and brand collaborations | UGC work / UGC review |
| Tutoring and workshops | Tutoring / workshop session / Tutoring / workshop review |
| Handmade products | Handmade work / Handmade review |
| Photography and events | Photography / event work / Photography / event review |
| Newsletters and memberships | Newsletter / membership work / Newsletter / membership review |
Record what moved forward in a work entry; use a review for observed results, learning and the next experiment.
If this did not work
- Template missing: search My templates and archived forms. Restore rather than recreate it.
- Preview not saved: close the preview and save in the editor. Save a real journal event separately.
- Required field blocks saving: check conditional questions. Complete the current answer or correct the template for future entries.
Next steps
Record a feeling, or collect saved events in a journal. A collection gathers entries; it does not supply questions.
