Profile And Preferences

Edit your profile deliberately, check what others can see, and choose the appearance, units, and time zone that fit you.

A member profile is separate from your private journal; check the audience of each field.

Change your profile in Self → Profile. Change app preferences in Self → Settings.

Edit Your Profile

1. Tap the name, photo or other value you want to change.
2. Make the change, then choose Save changes. Cancel keeps the old value.
3. Use View profile preview, when offered, to check what other members can see.

Your journal is separate from your profile. Names, handles, photos, bios and interests can be visible to other members. Occupation, pronouns, time zone, values and personality highlights are private. Quest names and levels have a separate Shown to friends / Hidden from friends choice.

Your city is private. Joining a regional Circle is a separate choice.

Time Zone

Tap the time-zone value in Profile. Choose a zone or let it follow this device where offered. Check scheduled times when travelling. This does not rewrite all past journal dates.

Appearance And Units

Open Self → Settings to change:

• Appearance: choose an available theme or system preference.
• Measurement units: choose distance and weight units, then Save units.
• On This Day memories, notification delivery or newsletter preferences: use their own controls.
• Loggy plan: check the allowance shown for your account.

If this did not work

Keep the editor open if saving fails. Saved on this device means the account has not synced yet; wait before checking another device.

Calculated totals and another person's profile are not yours to edit. Correct the underlying record instead.
