Find a Practice Circle
Review a regional community and choose whether to join.
Open ConnectOn this page
Join a Circle for company in an ongoing practice or support topic. Your goals, actions and journal stay separate.
Discovery varies by account/release. If no suitable room is offered, continue privately or create a Circle with people you choose.
Find and join
- Open Connect → Circles → Discover Circles. Search for a practice/topic and open its preview.
- Review the purpose and regional audience. If needed, use current location or manual city/region search, then check the derived state, province or country. A city is a lookup input, not the audience boundary.
- Choose Join Circle only if that named room fits, then check it in your Circle list. It may be created when you confirm.
- Use its Act tab separately if you want to add personal work.
Practice/support communities are standalone regional rooms, with no worldwide parent or regional child. Posts stay within the named audience. Rosters are private; support topics need explicit opt-in. Pen names reduce casual exposure without promising anonymity from management/safety review.
When a template or journal offers a Circle
When an Act practice or goal template offers a non-sensitive Circle, its join choice starts checked with the reviewed region shown. Untick it before adding the template to skip joining. Sensitive and support Circles stay opt-in. A recorded decline, departure or archived membership withholds the default; adding a template does not quietly reverse it.
Journal support offers still start unchecked. Review the named Circle and region before opting in. Joining never shares the journal entry. A private goal name, subject or Other answer never names a public room.
Onboarding differs: after deliberate region/room selection, its join row can start checked. Untick it to decline; that catalog excludes sensitive communities.
Joining, adopting work and posting an introduction are separate decisions. Review any post before sending. The regional change does not move old global-room posts or personal history into a new room.
Leave, mute, or change region
Mute reduces alerts; Leave Circle ends membership while retaining your personal actions/journal. Moving does not transfer posts or membership automatically. Review a new region and leave the old room deliberately.
If this did not work
Use manual region selection or retry lookup. Check membership before repeating an unclear join. Actions may already be saved while membership needs recovery; use that result's retry instead of creating them again.
Next steps
Use posts and shared work or change alerts.
