Keep Private Notes About People
Save one relationship detail and revisit your own history with a person or group.

Your relationship journal is private. Adding or tagging someone does not invite them, notify them or share an entry.
Save one private relationship detail
- Open Reflect → Journals → Relationships and select a person. To add one, use Tag people → Create Person in the journal composer.
- Open About [person], tap a value and enter a detail, such as a birthday.
- Choose Save private details. Reopen the value to check it. Closing About keeps unfinished edits; use Discard to cancel them.
- When writing about time together, tag the person and keep Visibility → Private. The event joins your relationship history without notifying them.
This is one journal with person/group tabs, not a separate journal per person. A tagged name also opens its tab. Saved people need no Logit account.
Read a person's history
The tab keeps private details, linked actions and your moments together. Use timeline, photos or map, and group by month/year where offered. Dates, contact details, notes, tags and custom fields are optional; only a name is required.
Shared with you is separate: it contains a linked member's posts you are allowed to read. Their shared posts do not make your notes visible. Actions shared or assigned to you keep their own permissions; a private person tag does not grant authority over them.
Add a task, practice, goal or event from the tab to prefill the person tag. An optional weekly-to-quarterly relationship rhythm is a reminder to reach out, not a score.
Groups and private Circle details
A family, team or business can have a group tab and private notes about people and roles. Events tagged with a unit also appear in the relevant people's history. Together can offer a group for people you often tag together.
A private people Circle can hold saved people without inviting them. Its roster separates Private details, Logit member and shared governance roles. Tap a saved row for their journal; a member without private details can get a linked private record. Private role notes do not make somebody a shared Circle member.
Importing/merging contacts is deliberate: similar records stay separate until you merge. Review What will change; importing a thumbnail does not replace your chosen photo. Saved people instructions cover import, archive and restore.
Private journal or shared Circle?
Opening a person's journal never starts a chat. When eligible, the tab offers a shared Circle and names who would be added. Choose it only for a shared conversation; your private notes remain yours.
A shared Circle has Overview, Posts and Act. Cards labelled Private to you stay private; Shared journal already has a named audience. Use Circles explains posting and shared actions.
If this did not work
Check the account, person/group tab, dates and filters, then refresh a failed load. Empty history is not proof of deletion. If private details saved but attaching the person failed, use that row's retry instead of creating them twice.
