Friends, Saved People and Feed
Connect accounts, save private contact details or read shared updates.
Open ConnectOn this page
A saved person is your private record; a friend is an accepted account connection. Saving, importing or tagging someone does not invite them or share your journal.
Find or invite a friend
- Open Connect → Friends and search by name, username or interest. Review the profile before sending a request. An email address uses a separate email-invite path.
- Check its request status. Accept/decline incoming requests or cancel your pending request. A QR friend link is another way to connect deliberately.
- After acceptance, message or open their context. Removing friendship keeps your private notes; blocking is a separate boundary.
Connect search can narrow to People, Circles, Messages or enabled Events. Results respect access. Add to my log saves private context without a friend request.
Import and review contacts
- Open Connect → Friends → Saved people → Import contacts.
- Use phone contacts where supported, or choose a vCard (.vcf) / header-row CSV file. Declining device permission still allows file/manual entry.
- Select people. Possible matches start on Skip; deliberately choose Merge or Import separately.
- Read What will change, then Import. Check the saved records before importing again.
Only chosen contacts are uploaded; nobody is invited or notified. Merging adds distinct/missing details, preserves an existing chosen photo and linked Logit account, and skips a no-change merge.
Optional Tell me when someone new is added checks this device when you open Connect. It offers review, never automatic/background import, and is remembered per account on this device. Review permission under Self → Settings → Contacts access; revoking it does not delete saved people.
Restore a saved person
Removing one archives it. Use Undo, or Saved people → Archived people → Put back. Details and journal connections return. Archiving does not unfriend or block the account.
Your relationship journal keeps person/group history and private details together.
Read Feed with its audience in view
Open Connect → Feed. Search or filter by content/audience; filtering does not change who sees a post. Private to you, Friends, Circle and Public are different scopes. Public is a deliberate Logit audience, never your whole journal.
Open a Circle excerpt for its thread, replies/helpful marks; shared journal entries keep their own comments/reactions. These responses follow the item's audience. If Reply opens a witness dialog, write and choose Send witness reply, then check the result.
Show older posts continues history. Resume draft reopens your own unfinished journal entry without publishing. Leaving a room or blocking an author can remove access even when an old excerpt remains.
If this did not work
Refresh requests or Saved people before repeating an unclear action. Check account and filters. A failed witness reply keeps its text/dialog for retry. An old Feed item does not grant continued access after membership/blocking changes.
