Create or Manage a Circle
Choose an audience, add people and check the saved room.

Use the management controls your Circle type and role offer. For everyday posts and shared work, see Use a Circle.
Create a Circle
- Open Create Circle in Connect.
- Choose Who can see this Circle?: Private means only you; Members means added/invited Logit members; Friends can be discovered/joined by your current friends; Public can be discovered/joined by signed-in people.
- Pick people. Results distinguish Logit profiles, friends, saved people and email invitations.
- Check the suggested name; add an optional description, photo or emoji. Review the audience, save and reopen the Circle to check it.
Private is the only audience for saved people. A Logit member added there is your private reference: they are not invited or notified. To widen a Circle containing saved people, resolve that restriction deliberately first; Logit does not silently remove people or expose notes. Widening an audience asks for confirmation.
A private people Circle can be a family, household or team relationship journal. Its private role notes and tagged history never grant shared membership. Friends/Public rooms can have optional community details; “local” is a description, not location access. Server-managed communities instead use regional practice Circle rules.
Invite or manage members
Owners/admins can invite from Overview and review/cancel pending requests. A person joins only after Accept; they can decline, and an unanswered invitation expires. Invitations do not reveal the roster. Non-owners can Leave Circle; the owner uses its management controls instead.
New communities keep private rosters and stable posting pen names. Pen names do not hide identity from necessary ownership/safety review.
Owners can promote admins. Owners/admins can remove posts; only the owner can permanently delete an ordinary user-created Circle, after confirmation. Protected Logit rooms, direct/private workspaces and event rooms have their own lifecycle. Deletion cannot recall what people saw or copied.
Connect Parent and Local Circles
Ordinary Circles can request a direct parent/subcircle link. Review the two rooms and content direction when requesting and approving. New links default from child toward parent; sharing travels one hop, never a chain, never a roster, and respects This Circle only content.
Practice/support communities are standalone regional rooms and cannot have these links.
Private details in People
The People roster separates private notes, Logit membership and shared Owner/Admin/Member roles. Tap a saved person's row for their journal, or its offered edit control for private details. A member without private details can get a linked private record; this does not change their shared role. A deliberately chosen room title stays yours; an unnamed two-person Circle can use the other person's name/photo.
If this did not work
Check audience, role and Circle type. After a failed invite, refresh Overview and check pending requests before sending again. Private details may save before attachment to the room: use that row's retry without making the person twice.
Next steps
