Make Your Own Template

Save reusable steps, ingredients or exercises, then use a fresh copy when needed.

Platforms: Logit app and web

Requires enabled personal-template builder controls

Shared templates expose a reviewed copy; stopping sharing cannot recall copies already made.

Open Act
On this page

Open Act → Templates → Make your own, or Something else → Write your own template. If these controls are absent, use the ready-made goal and habit templates available in your release.

Build and Save

  1. Choose Start blank, Paste a list, or From something you have. You can also use Make a template of this on existing work.
  2. Give it a name and choose the offered kind: a recipe/workout/list, a goal, or an ongoing practice. Review its life area and where it will be used.
  3. Add or edit the steps, things to get or exercises. Drag to reorder, or use Alt+arrow keys.
  4. Check Preview, then Save template. Reopen the saved template to check it. Command/Control+Enter also saves.

Make a template of this copies reusable content, leaving out dates, completion, people, attachments and journal notes. Make my own copy / Copy to My templates gives you a private copy of somebody else's template.

Paste a List

Paste text and choose Read it. Headings such as Ingredients or Warm-up help sort it. Check amounts, units and exercise targets. For an uncertain line, choose Make it a thing to get, Keep as a step or Remove it.

Usually in the house keeps pantry items off shopping lists unless you request them. A photo is not supported here; paste its text instead. Nothing saves until Save template. Loggy can also propose a template where available, for your confirmation; sharing is done in the app.

Use a Template

Choose Use this template, then On a practice day, For an event or On its own. Review the preview before adding it. Changing a template affects future uses, not existing work. Archive it to hide it from pickers and restore it later.

Share a Copy Into a Circle

  1. Choose Share with a Circle and select an offered household, family or group Circle. Community rooms are not offered.
  2. Read What sharing does and remove anything personal from its name, summary or rows.
  3. Choose Share and check the Circle offer.

Members see and can copy that version's name, summary, ingredients, steps and exercises—not your days, created work, people or journal. It appears in their Household book. Later edits reach them only through Share the latest version. Stop sharing removes the offer, not copies already made or what members saw.

If this did not work

Keep a failed save open and retry. Restore them / Discard handles unfinished edits on this device, not synced drafts. If another device changed the template, review Load the latest versus Save mine over it before replacing anything. After a sharing error, check the existing Circle offer before sharing again.

Next steps

Use a recipe or record exercises.
