Assign a Chore

Ask one household member to accept a chore, or record an agreed saved-person assignment.

Requires enabled chore assignments and a household or family Circle

Account assignees accept first; saved-person assignments are private owner records with no in-app acceptance or account credit.

Assign one chore to one person. A Logit member must accept first. For a saved person without an account, agree outside Logit and record it yourself.

You need enabled assignment controls and a household or family Circle. Adding a saved person does not create an account or grant shared access. If the controls are absent, keep the chore as your practice and agree the work outside Logit.

Assign a Chore

1. Open the chore and tap Company → Who does it.
2. Choose the household, then You, a household member or your saved person.
3. Read the named audience and invitation explanation. Set Until if temporary.
4. Choose Ask [name] for a member, or Assign to [name] for a saved person.
5. Reopen Who does it to check the result. Asked [name] · waiting is not acceptance: responsibility and reminders stay with you until they accept. Declining leaves it with you too.

Assignments start today; earlier days keep their record. The current workflow has no rotations, shared turns, cover requests or duty roster.

When a Chore Is Assigned to You

After accepting, find it on your Act Hub or the household Circle's Act → Chores assigned to you. Tick it, review the journal sheet's life area, Life Ring and actual minutes, then Save. The chore is done for the owner; journal evidence and time credit belong only to you. Only the owner can change the chore's schedule.

The owner records a saved person's completion with the offered one-tap action and Undo. This gives neither the owner nor the non-account person journal or ring credit for that work. A saved person receives no notifications or account access.

Take It Back

Open Who does it → You → I’ll do it myself. It returns to you from today and withdraws an unanswered invitation. Assignment never exposes the owner's journal or other practices.

If this did not work

Check household membership, the selected person and any Until date. Pending, declined, expired or revoked assignments can explain missing access. Refresh Who does it before sending another invitation or recording completion again.
