Several-page organisation in Loggy is a preview; use it only when offered.

Process only pages you choose; review captured writing and each proposed action before saving.

Keep the paper original and review a private digital copy. A photographed page can describe several moments; a page break does not necessarily mark an event boundary.

You need the photo feature available in your version and account, readable photos of your own writing, and requests remaining. Photo occasions, album imports and voice events have separate guides. If processing is unavailable, write an event manually from your original page.

Capture and review a page

  1. Open Reflect → Add event → Auto journal. Choose Open camera, or Choose multiple photos for photos of the page you already have.
  2. Compare the captured writing with the photo. Check especially dates, names, numbers and the words you used for feelings. Long sensitive numbers may be left out for safety; do not assume this is a complete archival transcription.
  3. Review Captured notes and every proposed event. Distinct moments can be proposed separately and marked Same written page. Check that the relevant writing stays with each event; merge proposals when they belong together or remove unwanted drafts.
  4. Set each event's real date deliberately. The day you photographed a page does not prove when the written experience happened. Check its duration, template, life area and Life Ring.
  5. Review action and person suggestions separately. Keep an existing person, add a new private person or skip the tag. Keep or dismiss written tasks, goals and practice intentions. Written items remain in the captured record either way.
  6. Check Private visibility, then save the events you want. Open them from the journal to verify the captured writing and page photo are there.

People are suggested from names in the writing, never faces. Matching existing private people happens on your device; it does not send your people list for the match or notify the named person. A written completed checkbox can suggest completing an existing task; read that proposal before approving it.

Several pages in Loggy — preview

When the written-page preview appears, Loggy → Add photos can read distinct pages before proposing event boundaries. Related passages can join across pages and unrelated moments stay separate. Compare each event with its sources and captured writing before saving.

Splitting at a writing boundary asks you to check the new events' fields again; cancel leaves the review unchanged. If your version cannot safely preserve the split, update the app or keep one whole-page event rather than losing writing. Each page read and subsequent organization can use processing allowance; follow the displayed limit.

If this did not work

  • Unreadable text: take a clearer photo with the whole page in frame, or type the missing text yourself. Do not save a guessed transcription.
  • Only part of the page was read: retry the incomplete read; compare the complete text before approving any event.
  • Writing exceeds the review limit: process fewer pages or keep separate events. The flow pauses rather than silently shortening the writing.
  • The allowance expires mid-batch: continue from retained reads only while the temporary workspace remains available. Keep your original page photos; do not assume indefinite retention or cross-device draft recovery.
  • Unsure which events saved: check the journal before repeating the import. Saved entries are separate from remaining proposals.

You can save only the writing: dismiss unwanted action and people suggestions. Only actions kept in the reviewed save are created or completed.
